Lake Lewisville Texas is a Corps of Engineers reservoir that is immensely popular for water sports and outdoor recreation in the Dallas Texas - Fort Worth Texas area. The City of Lewisville Texas manages Lake Park on the south shore of the lake: picnic areas, RV and tent camping, pavilion, 24-hour fishing barge, swimming beach and excellent public facilities. Also, Hidden Cove Park on the east shore is privately owned and operated and includes all the above plus screened shelters and three group pavilion facilities. Marinas, boat rentals, launch ramps, and angler's supplies are also available. Fishing on Lake Lewisville Texas includes large-mouth bass, crappie, catfish, white bass, and spectacular hybrid white/striped bass. Swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, sailboarding, camping, biking, and picnicking are all part of what makes Lake Lewisville Texas so much fun.

For details on facilities, contact the Corps headquarters at the dam, just off I-35 and Justin Rd., (972) 434-1666. For details on Lake Park, contact the City of Lewisville Texas Parks & Leisure Services, (972) 219-3550.
